Cookies & Analytics

ReduPDF uses no cookies. For anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. how often a page is viewed), we use the analytics service GoatCounter — no cookies, no personal data, no profiling. We only collect the page viewed, the referrer, a rough location (country), and browser/OS category. More information: GoatCounter's privacy policy.

Local Processing

The tool shrinks your PDF entirely inside your browser — image analysis, image recompression, and, if needed, rebuilding individual pages all happen on your device. No PDF file or its content is ever uploaded to or stored on a server.

Hosting (Netlify)

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Loading the page technically requires storing server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp). Netlify participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: netlify.com/privacy.

Google Fonts

This website loads fonts via Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA), which technically transmits your IP address to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a consistent visual presentation). Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework: policies.google.com/privacy.

Third-Party Libraries (CDN)

To process PDFs in your browser, ReduPDF loads the JavaScript libraries pdf.js and pdf-lib from the jsDelivr CDN (Prometheus NV, Netherlands/Switzerland). Loading these files technically transmits your IP address to jsDelivr; your PDF content itself never leaves your browser. More information: jsdelivr.com/privacy-policy-jsdelivr-net.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Since we do not collect personal data ourselves, these rights generally apply only to data held by the third parties listed above. For requests: robert.musil@robikett.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Austria: dsb.gv.at. In the EU generally, your local supervisory authority.
